2019 Registrations are now open.

Welcome to the 2019 Hunt 1000. This year, we’d like riders to focus on arriving for the Grand Finish in Melbourne on the 7th December. With this in mind there will be multiple departure dates of 26, 28 & 30 November – though really, you can leave whenever you wish.

Registration for the 2019 Hunt 1000 is $150

This includes:

  • GPS file of the route
  • 2019 ride manual
  • 2019 Hunt 1000 sew on patch
  • Invitation to a post ride dinner in Melbourne on 7th December
  • Your profile on our website (if you choose)
  • A donation to the Kosciuszko Huts Association.

We recommend completing all your details in the registration form as these will be shown on our rider profile page (excluding email and phone) along with rider tracking.

As per previous years, the Hunt 1000 will start in Canberra and finish in Melbourne however, the route between these two points will change.

The final version of the route (GPS file) will not be made available until late Oct/early Nov, allowing time for final route scouting after the snow season. When the route is finalised, you will be sent the GPS file, as well as details of how to hire a SPOT tracker and register for tracking (note this is an additional cost and not included in your registration fee).

Remember, the GPS file is nothing more than a line on a map to be used at your own discretion, at a time and date of your choice, and in association with your own due diligence. By utilising the GPS file you are accepting full responsibility for your own safety. The GPS file comes with no guarantees with regards to the condition, safety or even existence of a trail. Should you choose to ride the route you do so at your own risk.
